O DPS-D foi especialmente projetado para gabinetes padrão de 19 polegadas, com um design de aparência uniforme de 800 mm de profundidade e 440 mm de largura. É adequado para salas de informática IDC, salas de informática de empresas e instituições e outros locais, fornecendo fonte de alimentação CC ininterrupta de alta tensão para equipamentos de rede, como servidores e roteadores. O DPS é pequeno e pode ser instalado diretamente dentro do gabinete. Com as orelhas e alças fixas frontais, ele pode facilmente realizar a rápida implantação, instalação, remoção e substituição do DPS no gabinete.
